形態特徵

• Perennial herbs; rhizome creeping, thickened; stem erect, simple or branched at base, 20-25 cm long.
• Leaves ensiform, 25-45 cm long, 2-3 cm wide, apex acute to acuminate, sheathing at base, entire, upper surface lustrous green, pale, lower surface slightly glaucous, glabrous on both surfaces.
• Flowers showy, 6-7 cm in diam., white with bluish spots; spathe 2.5-3 cm long, green, keeled, margin membraneaceous; perianth tube ca. 1 cm long, white, enveloped by spathes; perianth segments 6 in 2 series; outer segments ovate-cuneate, 4-5 cm long, ca. 2.5 cm wide, white, with scattered yellow spots, clawed, margins denticulate, apex rounded, emarginate; inner segments oblanceolate-oblong, 2.5-3 cm long, ca. 1.5 cm wide; style 3-cleft, lobes ca. 2 cm long, 6-8 mm wide, lacerate; stigma ca. 1-1.5 cm long.
• Capsules oblong-ovoid, 3-4 cm long, perianth tube persistent at apex.

分布

• 台灣 : 500-1,000 m in the northern and central parts of the island, roadsides and forest edges, uncommon.
